2020-2 Application for Cho Byung Doo scholarship
★New Applicant★ should apply through administration office of one’s own college.
★Continued Applicant★ should apply through Office of Student Services.
1. Qualification
A. Students who are scheduled to attend 3 ~ 4-1 semesters
※ New applicants : semesters left should be over two
※ Those who have been selected as exchange students and will stay abroad during this semester cannot be recommended.
B. A person who actively wants to fulfill Chairman Cho Byung-doo's will, ‘Return as Received’
C. Person who completed two or more of the existing Special-pum or acquired the Sunggyun Myung-pum or completed all of the three pums.
D. Person who has completed more than 12 credits of academic performance for the previous semester [in case of the students who entered before 2004, 15 credits] and has a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
E. Students whose family is under difficult condition
* All five requirements must be satisfied.
2. Documents to be Submitted
A. Application for the scholarship (attached file)
B. Parents' tax certificate by local tax detail
C. A cover letter
- Must be self-written
- Within two sheets of A4
- Include growth backgrounds, view of life, learning plans, and future social advancement plans
D. Copy of the academic report card
E. Professor recommendation letter
F. Agreement of personal information collection and utilization
- Required documents except recommendations should be written by hand.
- All documents must be submitted in order to avoid disadvantages in selection.
3. Application term : 2020.8.11. (Tue.) to 8.19 (Wed.)
4. How to apply : Submit the documents to administration office of one’s own college. (Continued applicants must submit to the student support team)
5. Scholarship amount : full tuition
6. Selection
: Students who are recommended by colleges would be screened through interview by Cho Byung-doo Scholarship Management Commitee
(the interview schedule would be notified later)
6. Notes
A. Those who do not attend the scholarship ceremony and workshop will be disqualified from scholarship (workshop would be held on the Saturday of the week the interview is planned)
B. If selected, one should work diligently as a member of the Cho Byung-doo Scholarship Association and continue one’s participation in the scholarship raising activity.
