Guidance for students on Online/Offline exam, Spring 2021
■ Exam period: May. 31(Mon) ~ June. 4(Fri) [15th Week]
■ The do's and don'ts for online exam
<Online exam>
1. Check in advance from the professor in charge through the i-Campus bulletin board on whether to conduct the online exam for each course, the date and time of the exam, and how to proceed with the exam in details.
※ Exam will be held in “Korean Standard Time(KST)”
2. Make the exam to be taken in a quiet and independent space, and be sure to connect in a stable Internet environment with all unnecessary programs closed.(avoiding outdoor networks in cafes or public transportation, etc.)
3. Delete cookies and cache in your PC for smooth exam progress.

4. When taking an exam with the real-time streaming, be sure to check for abnormalities in your personal equipment (smartphone, webcam, microphone, speaker, etc.) and complete the settings for the exam following the proctor's instructions.
※ Check the smartphone charging status(full or cable-connected) and network status (Wi-Fi connection, etc.)
5. If cheating is detected (or if it is found to be cheating afterward), according to the academic regulations, the grade will be marked as ‘F’ and related disciplinary action will be followed, so all cheating is strictly prohibited and take exams faithfully according to the guidance from the proctors.
※ Types of cheating: gathering in one place to take exams and share answers, referring to unauthorized materials, proxy exam, and writing an answer through a solution site such as Chegg, etc.
6. NOT allowed to leave the seat while taking the exam, and in the cases of any other unexpected situation or inquiries regarding the exam, individually ask the proctor via email or messenger as guided.
■ The do's and don'ts for offline exam
<Offline exam>
1. Enter the classrooms in strict compliance with the actions for prevention of COVID-19.
- CANNOT enter the exam rooms without wearing a mask
- Be sure to use the hand sanitizer provided at the entrance of the building before entering the room
2. Students with fever or in self-quarantine are prohibited from coming to the campus.
☞ Attach supporting materials (diagnosis, etc.) and submit to the professor → The professor gives a chance of additional exam or alternative assignment to the student.
3. When entering and exiting, a fever check is being conducted, so it is recommended to arrive 20 ~ 30 minutes before the exam starts.
4. Unavailable to use the spaces in campus other than the classrooms only for exams.
5. Preliminary quarantine measures in all classrooms will be done for the exams.
