The seminar about 'Characterization of an anaplerotic enzyme and
identification of useful mutations for improving production of
oxaloacetate-derived metabolites’ was held in the Department of
Food Science and Biotechnology
The Department of Food Science and Biotechnology invited Prof. Dr. Michael Bott, from the Institute of Bio- and Geosciences in Germany, on May 22th and he gave a seminar on “Characterization of an anaplerotic enzyme and identification of useful mutations for improving production of oxaloacetate-derived metabolites”
In seminar, he described biochemical studies and an approach to obtain useful mutations in one of these enzymes to improve amino acid production.
