Smart Textiles: A holistic approach from materials to service
The main research subject is Smart textiles. Smart textiles [also known as e-textiles or smart textronics] are textiles with dedicated function of electronics embedded in them. Smart textile is considered to be a new niche for products with great potentials on textile. The overarching research question is "How can be ensured through efficient production technologies and service-based usage models marketable concepts for smart textile products.
