In this course, students obtain the knowledge of interdisciplinary curriculum convergence and application to manage the semiconductor fab for the intelligence of mechanics/materials/electronics/semiconductor equipments, and share the information of recent technology for job selection.

This course deals with an introductory subject regarding the industrial processes based on electrochemistry for the graduate students with a mechanical, material engineering background. The first part covers the oxidation-reduction reaction with a thermodynamics and kinetics. The redox reaction of metals and their application to electrochemical processes will be introduced with the latest research trends. The goal of this course is to understand electrochemical redox and the principle of the process using electrochemistry for expanding to applied fields.

IFT5033 Smart Semiconductor Packaging Technology 3 6 Major Master/Doctor English Yes
In this course, students will learn about semiconductor packaging technology, which is a post-process of semiconductor Fab. Tech. Semiconductor packaging technology includes multiple processes such as material bonding, interconnection, wiring, encapsulation, and reliability evaluation, and interdisciplinary convergence research is essential as technologies from various fields should be employed. In this lecture, semiconductor packaging technology is dealt with in depth by individual process, and the impact of AI and IoT technologies on packaging technology will be discussed. Through this, students will build theoretical and practical knowledge on next-generation smart semiconductor packaging technology.
