The College of Liberal Arts (Professor Ahn Dae-hoe) held the 15th Humanities Kiwoom on June 2 (Friday) at Toegye Humanities Hall of the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus.
At the 15th Humanities Kiwoom, Professor Kim Yong-tae of the Department of Chinese Literature conducted a presentation. How has East Asia used Chinese characters? - Under the theme of "Relationship between Chinese Language and East Asian National Language,“
Since the first semester of the 2022 school year, the College of Liberal Arts has been holding Humanities Kiwoom Culture (Growth), a place where academic topics can be discussed without distinction. It will be held at 12 o'clock on Friday every two to three weeks, and has been held 15 times so far.
The 15th Human Kiwoom was attended by Ahn Dae-hoe, president of the College of Liberal Arts, as well as teachers from the College of Liberal Arts, as well as Kwon Young-wook, director of the Sungkyun Convergence Center, to promote academic exchange and friendship.
Ahn Dae-hoe, president of the College of Liberal Arts, said in a greeting before the event, "I would like to thank professors who have shown a lot of interest in Human Kiwoom, and I plan to further diversify Human Kiwoom speakers in the second semester.“
The College of Liberal Arts will do its best to expand the scope of exchanges as an academic community that can communicate between teachers and establish itself as a beneficial event to gain understanding and insight into other academic fields. In addition, in order to promote interdisciplinary exchanges among members of colleges and universities, the interest and participation of teachers at other academic units as well as liberal arts universities are actively encouraged.
After the 15th, all of the Human Kiwooms scheduled for the first semester were successfully completed, and the next Human Kiwoom will be held in the second semester. In the second semester, presenters from each department of liberal arts universities are recruited in advance, and they are preparing to provide a more diverse and abundant academic exchange venue than in the first semester.
