The hybrid future culture research institute (Professor Lee Jong-kwan, Department of Philosophy) signed an MOU on research cooperation with the Friedrich Nauman Foundation (CEO Christian Takks) at the Toegye Humanitarian Hall's test materials on May. Through the conclusion of research cooperation with the Friedrich Nauman Foundation of Germany, the Commission decided to promote diverse research cooperation on future city and education projects, and to co-host an international academic conference under the theme of smart city this year.
The Hybrid Future Cultural Institute is a research institute that has been leading the way in carrying out "future humanities," a study of futuristic methodologies based on the humanities, and is attempting various future social studies based on the humanities. The Friedrich Nauman Foundation, a German nonprofit policy research institute established in 1958, has been connecting South Korea and Germany through its Korean branch set up in South Korea and supporting inter-Korean dialogue. To this end, the Nauman Foundation has been pushing for various policy research and projects that realize the value of freedom to create a peaceful and win-win environment and make it accessible to everyone.
Starting with research cooperation with the Friedrich Nauman Foundation of Germany, the Hybrid Future Culture Institute plans to continue to push for future humanities research, international cooperation with leading German universities, research associations and research foundations, and the hosting of international academic conferences.
